ANZAC Day Lunchion

Although ANZAC Day falls upon the 25th of April, I couldn’t say no when asked to play the week prior at a private ANZAC Day lunch and function.   The lunch and function was being organised by a RSL Sub Branch with many other RSL Sub Branches in attendance and parliamentarians.

Leigh - lean green killing machine

Ladies hit the pool table at Shinnys

What an afternoon and night at Shinnys Pub… I was supposed to play for 3 hrs and tried to finish after 3hrs but somehow that ended up going for 4 1/2 hrs instead.

Gayle the cook jumped up onto the pool table and invited some others to join her and

The ladies looked a bit like this... tho this aint them lol

they did.   Steve the owner let me know that the table cost $5,000 but it wasn’t my fault and Gayle runs the kitchen for them.

End result – no damage, some extremely happy ladies and lots of happy blokes who got to watch the ladies dancing.

What a great afternoon and evening – my thanks to all.

Till next time – Leigh

Crackin’ Cancer Single Released

Crackin' Cancer song

Leigh’s song Crackin’ Cancer has been released to iTunes, CD Baby, Amazon plus more.

Leigh has written the lyrics and music, plus arranged, produced mixed and mastered the song – not a bad effort but then he is passionate about this cause.

The song Crackin’ Cancer, was written to help raise funds for Cancer Research after all ‘Research Is The Answer – Funding Is The Key‘.   Each of the 3 verses tells it like it is with the 2nd verse being about Leigh’s own loss of his father to cancer.   If you can keep a dry eye then you have no heart.

As Leigh says “Cancer is not bias nor racist and does not care about age, it even takes your dignity and affects everyone around you“.

So please help us raise funds for Cancer research and purchase a copy by pressing on one of the links below – you know the research they do might just save your life…
