Well coming home is kinda like a holiday cept you still work on music, you catch up with friends and the weather did I mention the frost and fog and ice… it was freezing and it certainly killed my iPhone battery thats for sure. Checking online turns out that my iPhone 5 has a faulty battery (serial no checked with Apple) but I missed out on the time period and they didn’t tell me 🙁
Fog was clearing
The frost was bad and it made for many a cool night in the bus thank god for my doona and blanket and I won’t tell you that I left the front window halfway down in the bus which made it even colder in there like below zero for a week 🙁 I wound it down when I started the bus to make sure batteries were fine.
Frost was crunchy
Had trouble mixing the song ‘No You Ain’t The One (I Thought I Went To Bed With) but it’s getting there – have a listen to the sample
DEMO - No You Ain't The One
Cooked mum and myself a nice home cooked meal – Liver and Bacon, ok so some people call it Lambs Fry though not sure why, maybe it makes it sound better anyway it was beautiful and a nice change for mum who gets ‘meals on wheels’ delivered.
Well time fly’s and I have to head up to Chain Valley Bay as I am playing up there on the 22nd of July – Xmas in July they call it and I have to sing a couple of chrissy songs as well; should be interesting. So Merry Christmas in July if you are having one else delete all reference. 🙂
Anyway I have rambled on for too long, hey if you see me out on the road say gday or hit me up on UHF Channel 40
Till next time, take care, yours in country music – Leigh
