Well (thats another hole in the ground – sorry) Ok so I won’t keep you too long or ramble on as I sometimes (normally) do…
January is always a huge month what with getting over New Year and those resolutions that mostly don’t get kept hmmm… that’s alright I kept mine simple… I didn’t make any 😂🥳🤨
Of course after New Years its full steam on working towards the Tamworth Country Music Festival but…
in their wisdom because of the Corona Virus Pandemic its been cancelled again – say what???
Yes the 50th Festival has been cancelled well kinda, they’ve postponed it until April, yep oughta be huge – if they let it go ahead.
Guess I’ll just work on my music and some videos for them.
So as you can tell, January gets busy, since the start I’ve also had physio twice, x-rays, ct scans, ultrasound every other day and we’re only halfway through the month. Each time I have one the Doctor rings 2 days later saying hmmm we better follow up with another like WTF really?
And… later this month like nearly 3 weeks in is my mate Watts birthday and of course my long suffering partner Debbie both on the same day – hey we even dressed the same going on a cruise; couldn’t miss us or the others either.
Ok so I’ll bring this to a close by saying its Australia Day on the 26th, the mother in laws birthday on the 30th and another mates Perry’s birthday on the 31st which will be a big COVID safe party – phew then February begins & Valentines Day.
Hopefully the border security changes remain open and I can get back into Victoria to see Mum who’s in a home and my precious daughter B-J, I mean its been 3 years since I’ve seen them both and it hurts; between the accident then the Corona Pandemic with lockdowns double jabbed or not and now booster shots its been tough.
People say its been hard as they haven’t seen their loved ones for a few months try 3 years and then when it was almost safe to travel the Aged Care Facilities were put back in lock down again in Victoria which meant if I was able to travel down I still wouldn’t be allowed in to see mum.
Anyway here’s to Australia Day 2022 lets hope its a great one.
Anyway I have rambled on for too long, hey if you see me out on the road say gday or hit me up on UHF Channel 40
Till next time, take care, yours in country music – Leigh
