State of Origin run at Kempsey Showgrounds NSW not sure who won tho!

Friday the 5th of June it was time to go to a quiet place to work on music and endeavour to finish that elusive album – it wasn’t to be tho and here’s why and yep this picture is a hint…

Arrived at the Kempsey Showgrounds on the Saturday after a lazy drive north for a few days.   They have power, water and its fairly peaceful just what I needed.   As you can see there was blue skies and all – right, out came the laptop and the headphones and power connected to mains – tick, take photo and then set up awning, chairs, mat etc and put kettle on – tick… and relax!

Last December (2014) I was approached when playing out at the Tomago Bowling & Sporting Club to see if I would be interested in being the main artist at the Family Fun Day Show n Shine.

I was told it was to raise funds for the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service so naturally I said yes being that it was for a worthy cause – it would be held on Sunday the 12th April 2015 and would be a Car, Bike and Truck show.

Well we got there on the Saturday and proceeded to set up, sound check and then settle down for a quiet evening with Chris and Lynn the organisers cos people would be arriving at sparrows fart (means b4 sunrise yawn) and they did Chris was walking around at 3am.

we had fun and raised money for a great cause just look at the pictures – cars bikes more

Catherine Hill Bay with the CMCA

Hunter Coastal Wanderers Badge

On the weekend of the 21st of March I had the pleasure of spending the weekend at the Catherine Hill Bowling Club (facebook page) with the Hunter Coastal Wanderers (facebook page) the No 2 Chapter of the CMCA.

Now for the uninitiated CMCA stands for Campervan & Motorhome Club of Australia of which I am a member (also a member of the WRV Club –  for Winnebago and Avida motorhome owners).   Both Clubs are similar but on the same token very different with the CMCA having many Chapters and monthly weekends away in every state…   anyways if you want to find out more then goto the CMCA’s website or facebook page or the WRV Club website.

Not only did I have a great weekend (despite the weather) I also played on the Saturday night and a great time was had by all as can be seen by the photos below…
